George Kyriakou returned to Greece in 1999 after finishing his studies in International relations at East London University and Audio Visual Productions at London Guildhall University and started working as a production assistant in several production companies like Cinegram and Stefi productions. A year later he started working as a PR manager for EMI’s international catalogue. One of his biggest achievements was the promotion of St. Germain’s project which sold 15000 copies. His love for electronic music and his dream of creating a Greek electronic music label was the reason that lead him to quit his job at EMI. In 2003, together with Nikos Barlas he founded Klik Records where he worked as A&R and Label Manager. George Kyriakou has compiled a great number of projects for Klik Records, among them the “Hiroshi Watanabe – A Klik Records Tribute” which sold more than 15000 copies. His love for music doesn’t stop in the record label. For years hosting his own shows in some of the best radio stations in Greece like Rock Fm, Klik on Capital and during the last years Best Radio 92.6 lead to his establishment as one of the best radio producers in electronic music in the country.
